Pronouns: they/them

Emmlyn is a senior at the University of Iowa but is originally from Dayton, Ohio. They went to a STEM focused high school but decided to pivot to writing after attending the Kenyon Young Writers Program. They specialize in speculative queer fiction and have been an intern for the IYWP since 2021. Emmlyn’s favorite memory with the IYWP is performing alongside other amazing IYWP interns and students with singer/songwriter Storm Large at Hancher last December, but they hope to make even more wonderful memories this year.
