This is an invitation to participate in a listening session that will help you better understand your own values as a learner – how you learn, why you learn, and what educational settings inspire you. It’s also a chance for you to share your voice on behalf of students in our community and across the country!

Reimagine Iowa City Public Education (RIPE) is bringing Imagining Learning to Iowa City this July. This national research initiative invites young people to participate in a heart-centered exploration of the question, "How do we educate young people to thrive in a world of possibility?"

Imagining Learning invites young people’s voices into the co-creating process through Listening Sessions that give teenagers (ages 13-19) the opportunity to share, in a safe and nurturing environment, their aspirations, insights and vision on learning.  Listening Sessions are designed to tap into the inner wisdom that students implicitly hold through a series of appreciative questions, sharing stories and collaborative painting.
