The Eastern Iowa Reading Council, the University of Iowa College of Education’s Teaching and Learning Department, and the Iowa Youth Writing Project have teamed up to celebrate all the amazing young writers in the Iowa City area and beyond with our Short Story and Poetry Contest!

Submit your work by April 7th at 11:59PM (CST) to participate.

First place winners at each grade level will be our guest on Wednesday, May 14th, 5:30-6:30pm at the Baker Teacher Leader Commons, 240 S Madison St, Iowa City, IA 52240.
